Educational Resources Program
Students with professionally diagnosed learning disabilities or
attention disorders are provided a comprehensive educational
program, which ensures maximum individual attention to each
student. A learning plan is developed using objectives and goals
as a way of measuring success. Educational Resource teachers are
available to give assistance with test and assignment
modifications, and adaptation of instructional materials.
Process for admission to Educational
Resources
- Students must submit results of
professional psychological testing.
- Test results will be evaluated by our staff
to determine eligibility.
- Staff will interview parents and child.
- Staff and Admissions Committee will review
findings.
- Admission Office will advise parents of
admission.
When appropriate, these students are
mainstreamed into the regular classroom. This program is only
designed for students through grade four. Continued evaluations
are administered to determine what is the best educational
option for the student as they progress in their schooling. |
