Mount de Chantal students receive an
academically challenging, spiritually enriched
education of the highest caliber, yet the
tuition they pay is considerably less than the
actual cost of their education. The Annual Fund
provides a way to help bridge the gap between
tuition revenues and the actual cost of a
"Mount" education.

 Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy is undergoing
a transition that will set the stage for the future of the
school. The future is one of hope and excellence. A
comprehensive Strategic Plan will chart the course for Mount de
Chantal. It will define how the school lives up to its motto of
“Be who you are and be it well that you may bring honor to the
Master Craftsman whose handiwork you are.” – Saint Francis de
Sales.Financial support is as critical
today as it was in 1865 when the Civil War left many formerly
wealthy families destitute, and to deal with the situation, the
sisters visited New York to seek funds from the notorious Boss
Tweed.

experience prepares its students for the challenges of today’s
